Amane — Privacy Policy

Amane is an internal content-operations application built and operated by Kaiten, Station F, Paris, France. It is used exclusively by Kaiten’s own team to plan, review and publish Kaiten’s marketing content. It is not offered to the public.
What Amane does with your LinkedIn account
When a Kaiten team member connects their LinkedIn account, Amane uses LinkedIn’s official APIs with the member’s explicit OAuth consent, limited to the following scopes: openid, profile, w_member_social.
Amane accesses and stores only:
- the member's LinkedIn identifier (person URN) and display name, to identify the connected account;
- OAuth tokens, stored server-side, encrypted at rest, never exposed to the browser;
- the identifiers and URLs of posts that Amane itself publishes on the member's behalf, for campaign tracking.
Amane publishes a post on a member’s profile only for content that this member explicitly reviewed and approved inside Amane, at the date the member scheduled.
What Amane never does
- No reading of feeds, messages, connections or other members' data.
- No automated likes, comments, reshares, invitations or messages — these actions always remain human.
- No browser automation or scraping of LinkedIn.
- No sale, sharing or transfer of any data to third parties.
- No advertising or profiling use.
Storage and access
Data is stored on Kaiten’s Supabase infrastructure. Access is restricted to Kaiten’s team. Publication events trigger internal notifications on Kaiten’s own Google Workspace.
Retention and deletion
OAuth tokens are deleted immediately when a member disconnects their account in Amane. Any stored data is deleted upon request to privacy@kaiten.sh. Tokens expire automatically per LinkedIn’s token lifetime.
Optional data portability access (EU members)
A member may additionally, and separately, consent to let Amane read their own LinkedIn activity through LinkedIn’s Member Data Portability API. When enabled, Amane reads only the following domains: ALL_LIKES, INSTANT_REPOSTS, MEMBER_SHARE_INFO, ALL_COMMENTS (to mark the member’s own team-amplification tasks as completed) and CONNECTIONS (to display the member’s own connection count). Amane stores only the resulting task status and the count; raw snapshot or changelog data is processed and discarded, never retained, and never shared. This access is optional, unrelated to publishing, and can be revoked at any time from Amane or from LinkedIn.
